Disability Survey Results

We can now share the results of our Disability Access and Inclusion Survey!

Thank you to those who took the time to respond. We had 23 responses, 8 of whom reported living with a disability and 4 indicated they provide informal care to someone with disability.

To view the full results click here.

A key priority issue for respondents was footpaths! The Shire has already recognised this, and based on the Shire’s 10 Year Shared Pathways Plan, we submitted a grant application to assist in funding improvements and extension of the network. We hope to have news on the grant outcome in the coming months.

Feedback from the survey will inform the updated Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2024-2029 and it is anticipated that it will be presented to Council at the 12 December 2024 Ordinary meeting for consideration. Community members are welcome to attend and provide feedback.
