Disability Access and Inclusion Plan – Invitation for Submissions
The Shire is currently undertaking a review of its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP).
The aim of the Shire’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan is to guide the local governments activities and attitudes to positively enrich the lives and experiences of people living with and caring for people with disability, so they have the same opportunities as anyone to thrive in our community.
The current DAIP can be viewed here.
It is important that we gain feedback from the community to determine priorities, areas for improvement and ensure people have an opportunity to participate in the process. This does not just include people living with disability, it is valuable to hear from anyone who has or is providing support to a person with disability or accessibility needs.
To have your say, you can complete our DAIP Survey online by clicking here or contact the Shire Administration and we can provide you with the survey in alternative formats.
Members of the public are also invited to make a general submission via email to enquiries@mingenew.wa.gov.au with a subject line of ‘DAIP Submission’, you can call us on 9928 1102 or you can visit the Shire Administration at 21 Victoria Road, Mingenew and we can assist in preparing your submission. If you require assistance, please advise our Customer Service staff.
