Mingenew Daycare Facility Upgrade Project Update

At a Special Council meeting on 6 May 2024, Council accepted a quote (under a tender exempt process) to commence construction of the new Day Care facility! PRESS RELEASE: Proposed Gas Extraction Wells, Gas Processing Facility and Workforce Accommodation

Council, at its Special Meeting tonight, resolved not to support the Lockyer Gas Project implementing any permanent workforce accommodation onsite at its proposed Gas Processing Facility. PUBLIC COMMENT – Lockyer Conventional Gas Project Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) Level of Assessment

The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is currently determining whether the Lockyer Conventional Gas Project will be assessed by the EPA or if they agree that the project has no significant environmental impacts, and it can be assessed under secondary approvals.
