Sealing Works on Yandanooka NE Road
What is happening?
The Shire of Mingenew will be sealing the reconstructed section of Yandanooka NE Road, from SLK 0.52 (Yandanooka Hall corner) to SLK 5.5 (5 km along the road).
Who will this affect?
The works will impact landholders, residents, and road users traveling on Yandanooka NE Road, east of Mt Scratch Road and Yandanooka Hall, including the intersection of Yandanooka NE and Yandanooka Melara Road. Harvest period traffic may also be affected.
When will the works take place?
- Final road preparation: Commencing 2nd December 2024
- Sealing works: Commencing 7th December 2024
What to expect:
- Traffic and warning signs in place
- Reduced speed limits
- Traffic delays during the works
- Full traffic interruptions for 3-4 days during the sealing from 7th December 2024
- Traffic control measures in place throughout the project
What you should do:
- Consider alternative routes to avoid the construction area
- Follow all traffic control measures
- Expect delays and allow extra travel time
