Free community stargazing night! Stars are the jewels of summer night skies in Mingenew!

See the great Orion Nebula, Jewel Box star cluster, Southern Cross & much more through telescopes. Discover why WA is a world-class tourism destination for stargazing and astronomy. Mingenew is on the Astrotourism WA map! www.astrotourismwa.com.au.

Learn beginner tips for telescopes & stargazing. If you have a telescope please bring it along for hands on help.

BYO chairs, picnic, drinks, torches, warm clothes, fly net, insect repellent & your telescope if you have one (batteries charged).

Bookings: Please RSVP at the Shire of Mingenew on 9928 1102 or enquiries@mingenew.wa.gov.au. This event will go ahead rain, hail or shine. Inside activities & presentations will be held if it’s cloudy.
